Weigh in
This was a very hectic week which I knew was going to occur when I started. I made it through without counting points and still lost week. I am crediting that to the Slimstyle Shakes and the zero fat yoghurt and Granola. I am going to try to start counting points again this week but I know that it could be a busy week again but I will do my best. Goals for this week in order of importance:
1. 2 pound weight loss
2. Slimstyle shake a day
3. Yogurt and granola for breakfast.
4. Count points.
5. More exercise
Today was weight in again and today's weight 224.5 and that is a 4.3 lb weight loss. Yay!

Weakend + Day 8 (monday)
Sunday was not much better. I need to think about how to deal with weekends when my family has more control over where we eat. Breakfast at McDonalds after church is apparently a 'tradition'. Trying to skip it was not going over well. Monday went much better. So my weigh in was Sunday
Weight 228.8 a weigh loss of 5.8 lbs given my starting weight some of this is probably water. Still I'm happy with my start.

Those Slimstart shakes are a big help. I have yet to have hunger pains. Cravings for my usual snakc foods continue even though I am not really hungry.

- Sweet/sour Pork - Dinner
- Fried Rice - Dinner
- Chow mein - Dinner
- SlimStart - Breakfast
- Yogurt - Lunch
- Granola - Lunch

Day was all planned out to bring me in at 30 points leaving wiggle room for those things that just happen. Unfortunately the thing that just happened was taking my kids to dance class which always involves walking next door to Cobbs for a loaf of bread and Cinnamon buns. I am half way through eating it when I wonder how many points it is. 10 points... ouch. On the good side I did hold myself to one plate of Chinese which means we have enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow night.
- Points 40/33 tomorrows another day
- Exercise - nope
Day 2
Breakfast - One Scoop SlimStyles Shake Mocha. Good and extremely filling.
Lunch - 100 ml No Fat Yoghurt with 1/3 cup Granola. Good but a little short for lunch. Maybe some nice bread need to figure out the points for that.
Challenge - Wife wants Chinese take out for dinner tomorrow night...
Snack - Carrots
Dinner 2 cups Baked beans and 2 hot dogs with ketchup Definitely good hign on points but with lunch I got points room.
Dessert 48 Chocolate bunny Grahams
Points 32/33
No Exercise! :-(
Diet Start
I have set myself a goal of running with Run For One Planet somewhere near the end of their run around North America. In order to make this goal I need to loose some weight, Ok a lot of weight. So the weight loss goal is 35 lbs by May.
Right now I am focusing on weight loss. I am using a Weight Watchers book with their point system that I bought in a used book store. I have used weight watchers before and it worked for as long as I kept up the online account. I am trying to find lower point alternatives to my favourites as that is one area that I missed.
